This course is not meant to prepare you for the VCP-DT. The VCP-DT does require a VMware VCP, however, but not necessarily the VCA-DT. The VCA-DT exam currently available is based on View 4, and this new course is for View 5. The VCA-DT5 exam has not been released yet, but this course will get you up to speed with View 5. VMware’s certification page explains quite a bit: http://mylearn.vmware.com/portals/certification/ .
