vCommunity Trust’s Mission

Luigi Danakos (@NerdBlurt) got involved with vCommunity Trust when he met Paul Valentino (@sysxperts) & Tim Oudin (@toudin). They shared a common enthusiasm for wanting to give back to their community by using their professional expertise to expand opportunities for disadvantaged individuals. The group of volunteers driving vCommunity Trust are trying fill the need for resources in order to create valuable, professional experiences for individuals aspiring to become IT professionals.

The placement of donated equipment in schools can have a great impact on generating an avid interest in aspiring IT professionals. When students are exposed to the opportunity to use technology they otherwise would not, Luigi says, “You never know where it can lead them.”
