Earlier this month I got a chance to attend Cisco Live. This was my first time at the event and I was surprised at how innovative and different the event was from other technology conferences.
This was also my first time meeting TrainSignal’s Cisco instructor Joe Rinehart in person. Joe lives in Seattle and in addition to creating great Cisco training for us he is the Senior Consulting Engineer at INX, President and CEO at GraceStone Company, Adjunct Instructor at Bellevue College and the President of the Seattle Cisco Users Group. He also finds time to blog about technology at jjrinehart.wordpress.com and connect with fellow IT professionals on Twitter (@jjrinehart). In short, Joe is a busy guy.
So when we got a chance to talk, I asked Joe about his involvement in SEACUG and what he thought Cisco professionals should be paying attention to in 2011. Joe also shared his thoughts on the evolving Cisco certifications, the growing importance of virtualization and how networking professionals should get started with virtualization. Joe also talked about his new Cisco CCNA Voice Training and his upcoming CCNA Wireless Training.
Enjoy the video and make sure to say hello to Joe at the next Cisco Live event!
