Interview with VCDX & vExpert Jason Nash at Cisco Live

Jason Nash is a vExpert and blogger at jasonnash.wordpress.com. He’s also the Data Center Solutions Principal at Varrow, a leading provider of virtualization storage and disaster recovery solutions. You might remember Jason from TrainSignal’s VMware vSphere Security Design Training, or you might have had a chance to connect with him on Twitter (Jason goes by @nash_j). In any case, he’s definitely someone you want to keep an eye on.

Last year Jason earned the coveted VMware VCDX certification and has continued to contribute to the IT community through involvement in user groups, numerous speaking engagements and of course, his blog. Check out this video from the 2011 Carolina VMUG “Ask the Expert” session, in which Jason was one of the experts: VIDEO: Ask the Expert with Scott Lowe, Rich Brambley, Jason Nash, Mike Laverick and Mike DiPetrillo.

I got a chance to meet Jason at this year’s Cisco Live event and we spent a couple of minutes talking about the conference and the importance of Cisco professionals learning about virtualization. In this video, Jason shares some great advice on how Cisco professionals can get up to speed with virtualization and what IT pros should be paying attention to in 2011. Jason also talked about his upcoming VMworld sessions and gave a little insight into where the rest of the year will be taking him.

I hope you enjoy the video; I know I enjoyed meeting Jason and hope to catch up with him at VMworld next month.
