Tintri is spearheading a different way of looking at storage management by giving visibility to the storage admin, virtualizing more and virtualizing faster. In this video interview from VMworld 2011 we sat down with vExpert Justin Lauer of the Tintri team to talk about the VM storage company’s recent success, and how they are looking to innovate going forward.
Since it began, Tintri has strived to reconceptualize how networked storage can adapt to virtual machines. They provide solutions for faster, streamlined VM storage that improves performance for virtual applications, development & test and workload consolidation. Justin explains Tintri’s new way of looking at storage for the virtualization environment using the “per VM way of doing things.”
Some of the new developments from Tintri to look out for are HA dual controller architecture, end-to-end latency, and auto-alignment of the guest OS. To keep spreading the word about their solutions, Tintri will be touring VMUGs around the country this fall. For information on their services visit the Tintri website, and follow @TrintiInc on Twitter for updates on the conference circuit and everything VM storage.
