Free CompTIA Network+ Training: Different Types of Switches

In this video, we’ll be continuing our CompTIA Network+ coverage on network devices. I’ll be going over the different types of switches available including Multilayer Switches and Content Switches. You’ll learn about how multilayer switches provide functionality at higher OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) layers and how content switches actually handle the information being transmitted by inspecting and forwarding the data.

After you’ve watched this video, you’ll be ready to learn about some of the more Advanced Switch Functionality explained in the next video.
