Back in October 2010, we asked you to vote for Train Signal in the Virtualization Review Reader’s Choice awards. First and foremost, I want to offer a BIG THANK YOU to all the readers out there who voted! Those votes really paid off for Train Signal’s VMware training product line because I am excited to announce that Train Signal’s VMware training won the 2nd place “Merit Award Winner” in the Virtualization Training category.
I am super-exited about 2nd place because this is the first time we have been listed in the buyer’s guide and we came in only behind VMware’s Education group. While these results haven’t been posted yet over at VirtualizationReview.com I know the results because I received, in the mail, a physical copy of Virtualization Review magazine and their Dec/Jan edition – the 2011 Virtualization Buyer’s Guide and Reader’s Choice Awards – that you can see below.

No matter what kind of virtualization hardware or software you need for your virtual infrastructure, this buyer’s guide is a great resource. Plus, it ranks the products based on how the magazine’s readers ranked those products so that you know which products are most popular (and thus most useful, powerful, or valuable).
Again, I want to offer a HUGE THANK YOU to all the Train Signal Training readers that voted for us and who have supported our VMware training over the years!
Train Signal’s VMware Training Agenda
What’s next for our VMware training? Don’t worry, this award isn’t going to our head. We’re not going to sit back and relax. We are continuing to crank out more and more great VMware video training courses like my new vSphere Troubleshooting that was released this month.
My new vSphere Troubleshooting Training is 14 hours and is a great way to prepare for a large part of the VCAP-DCA certification exam. More importantly, this new course will teach you what to do to get the virtual infrastructure back up and running FAST, before the end users (and your boss) have a chance to take notice.
I hope you’ll take a look at the many topics that the troubleshooting training covers in the 30 lessons and watch the sample video from the course.
