A couple of weeks ago, we invited you to tell us your Train Signal success stories — how you completed a certification, got a new job, a promotion, or were able to advance your IT career in some way with Train Signal’s help.
Today we’d like to share one of these stories with you.
Meet Kunal Mehta
Kunal is a Computer Science student at Manipal Institute of Technology in India. He loves computers. When he’s not configuring remote access on servers or making new VMs, Kunal’s passion for movies and photography takes over.
Kunal believes in green and efficient computing and has a keen interest in Server Administration, Virtualization and Consolidation. When asked about his long term goals, Kunal says his dream is to work at a Microsoft datacenter in Redmond configuring servers as an Enterprise Administrator and “sipping a cupppa coffee with Sir Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer during my work break!”
On his journey to becoming an MCITP Enterprise Administrator Kunal is using Train Signal’s Server 2008 Enterprise Administrator Training and has recently earned his MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring Certification by passing the 70-642 exam with a score of 875/1000!
Kunal uses Train Signal’s video training because “the clarity of information which you get in the Train Signal videos is just phenomenal and nearly impossible to get reading books. The best part is the informal way of teaching- giving an impression that not a teacher, but a friend is teaching you with the extra added humor.”
Last year Kunal became a Microsoft Student Partner (MSP) and a tech rock star at his school! His passion and enthusiasm for IT is not only indisputable but inspiring. In fact, when we talked with Kunal about the best ways of breaking into the IT field, he said that “passion for IT is the ultimate requirement.” And we couldn’t agree more.
Kunal has his parents to thank for his success; “my parents have always encouraged me to try out new stuff and helped me understand the importance of a career. Thank you mom & dad, love you!”
