The 12^th annual System Administrator Appreciation Day is just around the corner. To mark the day, Windows IT Pro Magazine has launched their first ever System Administrator of the Year contest.

The contest was created to recognize outstanding System Administrators and IT Professionals and reward them for their hard work throughout the year.

Is there a sysadmin in your organization that has made a difference? Is there an IT professional you and your coworkers rely on each day? Or are you the exemplary systems administrator that deserves recognition?

How to Enter:

To enter the Sysadmin of the Year contest you can nominate your favorite sysadmin — or you can nominate yourself. All you have to do is submit a 500 word (or less) essay through on online form that describes a “heroic problem-resolution scenario.”
