Citrix XenDesktop is the first and currently the only desktop virtualization solution that can deliver Windows desktops as an on-demand service to any user, anywhere, and on any device. With simplified management, increased flexibility, performance and security, XenDesktop is the number one choice for many large enterprises. And until now there were only a handful of ways to master the popular product.
Train Signal’s new Citrix XenDesktop 4 Training is the first computer based, comprehensive training that will help you learn everything you need to know about XenDesktop 4. The training covers XenDesktop deployment, configuration and management, server provisioning, creating and managing vDisks, working with the Profile Manager and Citrix Receiver and much more.
This course however, is not for beginners; it was designed for IT professionals with fundamental networking and system administration experience as well as a basic understanding of virtualization. The main goal of the course is to expand your competencies in the desktop virtualization space and help you build the necessary skills for using XenDesktop to virtualize your own desktop environment.
The new training also provides full coverage for the Citrix Certified Administrator (1Y0-A17) Implementing Citrix XenDesktop 4 exam, for those who are interested in getting certified. There is a whole lesson devoted to the A17 exam, explaining the exam topics and weights, personal study recommendations and credit towards certification.
