Josh Stephens is the Vice President of Technology at SolarWinds, the leading provider of IT management solutions for network, application, storage and virtualization management. While in San Francisco this year I got a chance to meet Josh, aka Head Geek, and talk about SolarWinds and what it has to offer. Josh gave me some insight into what products are currently being developed to meet the growing needs of IT professionals and where the company is headed.

I also learned a lot about the enormous SolarWinds community that Josh runs and all of the free resources, tools and support that it offers.

The most important thing I learned from talking with Josh is that SolarWinds is definitely unique. From the way new products are being developed to the strong support and education on IT management that is offered, the company does things differently, and it really shows.
