I would like to see more Linux training videos. Ubuntu Linux is becoming very popular and the way MIcrosoft is going down hill, people are going to want to try something else. Thank you for your time and taking my vote.

I’m extremely interested in creating a LAMP based website. I know that video’s centered around PHP/MySql development of a database driven website would have an enormous appeal to web developers and the Linux community. If it was offered at a reasonable price.

I especially would be interested in anything that outlines creating a LAMP based webserver that I can run from my home. I have tons of books on the subject, but an instruction video would definitely speed my learning curve.

I would like to see more training videos on “Digital video broadcasting” i.e. Mpeg compression and redistribution through a TCP/IP network. I run an IT video test lab and we could use some more knowled on the convgence of IP traffic and video technologies.

BTW you guys are the best. I am the purchasing manager here and I just bought your complete package.

I really love the training video’s we have purchased. I would love to see a full DVD on Learning SQL 2005/2008 on how to manage a SQL server. Things like installing, configuring for optimum performance, setting up database’s, backups, transaction logs, etc.

    Hi everyone,

I love to see a cutomized environment that imitates real network (office) with all network nodes like; file servers, mail server, print servers, router, switch hubs for every trainee. Trainee can enter into his/her virtual office and start monitoring checking, install program, remove program, like a network adminstraotr via internet. I think this is almost a real hands on application that would be best for new trainees.

    Thanks,

I would love to see some SQL training. My eyes glaze over when anyone mentions SQL or the new SQL 2008. A training course that takes a person from knowing nothing to someone who feels comfortable with the product would be great. Much the same way the Exchange courses have always been predicated on the person viewing the videos as not knowing much about Exchange when heading into the training.

I would like to see a new video training on “Ubuntu” and “Network security”. Since its release few years ago, Ubuntu has become the world’s most popular Linux distribution.
I would also like to see “Network security” video training becuase there is a lot of consciousness of security today, but not a lot of understanding of what it means and how far it should go. most people users, system administrators, and managers alike are starting to feel that they’d better accept it, or atleast try to understand it.
Finally, Train signal the best computer training on planet earth has revolutionize learning in clear, straightforward jargon-free terms. Keep up the good work.

I would like to see training on mainframe subjects:

    Z/OS- operating system
    RACF-Mainframe security
    ACF-Mainframe security
    SNA- Network architecture
    NSA-Network storage architecture
    DASD-Direct Storage devices

Mainframes still play a vital role, especially in business information processing.

    Mainframes are not going away!

I would also like to see Linux training. There is probably a lot of people like me who manage mostly Windows Server, but need to manage a couple of Linux as well and need to know how to keep it tuned, backed up,etc. but learn in as little time as possible, not run through every feature or setup.

I would love to see some more Linux videos, mostly on the basics of administration and a bit more on deploying a viable replacement to our Microsoft environment.

Love the work you guys do, I refer everyone I know for the Microsoft stuff, but anything Linux would be great. Personally I’m for CentOS or SuSe but I wont be picky.

I would also like to see more Linux stuff. You know like how to do the install and how to setup a mix network windows for the client and Linux for the file and print server. it would also be cool to learn how to setup send mail..
