Until recently
CompTIA certifications were all permanent certifications, meaning that if you got certified in A+ you were certified for life.
As of January 2010 this is no longer true — the A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications will expire three years from the date they’re issued and you will be required to renew your credentials in order to stay current.
