The reasons behind the school’s closing and financial troubles remain unclear and ComputerTraining.Edu is not planning on refunding the tuition costs to students for classes that have been canceled.

A few reports state that ComputerTraining.Edu students might have some options, including transferring to another school or filing for a refund on tuition, but it is still not clear if students in all states will be able to do this.

Free Microsoft Training For ComputerTraining.Edu Students

To help ComputerTraining.Edu students who have been affected by the closing of the school, Train Signal would like to offer free Microsoft training — with no strings attached — we’ll even cover the shipping costs.

Any ComputerTraining.Edu students who registered and paid their tuition only to find out that their classes have been canceled can contact to receive free training that is comparable to the class they signed up for.

This includes our Windows Server 2003 Training for MCSA/MCSE candidates as well as our Server 2008 Training for MCITP candidates.

Our training videos include complete exam coverage, real-world scenarios, and Transcender practice exams. And our multiple file formats make it easy to learn on your own time, at your own pace and from the convenience of your home or office.

Former ComputerTraining.Edu students interested in receiving a free Microsoft training course should contact us at sales@trainsignal.com and provide proof of enrollment.

Binding Agreement

In order to enter Train Signal’s 7 Year Anniversary Contest (the “Contest”), you must agree to these Official Contest Rules (the “Rules”); please read this entire document prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that submission of an entry in the Contest constitutes agreement to the Rules. The Rules form a binding legal agreement between you and Train Signal, Inc with respect to the Contest.

Eligibility

The Contest is open to all individuals 18 years and older. Current Train Signal employees are not eligible. Only one entry per person.

How to Enter

To enter the contest you must email your photo with your favorite Train Signal training product to contest[at]trainsignal.com before September 30, 2009.

Prizes

All Prizes are not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name, photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and advertising purposes as deemed appropriate by Train Signal, Inc. Any potential winner who cannot be contacted by email or phone within 14 days of the first attempted notification will forfeit his/her prize.

Privacy

Participants agree that personal data including name, mailing address, phone number and email address will be collected and used for purposes of administering the Contest. If a Participant does not provide the required data when requested, the Participant’s Entry will be ineligible for any prizes. All personal data collected will be maintained in accordance with Train Signal’s Privacy Policy which all Participants should read and understand.

The auction specified that the winner will send 3 t-shirts for Jeremy to wear at the Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas. And although we won the auction at $5,200.00 we decided to donate $10,000.00 for this great cause. All the money went to the National Breast Cancer Foundation via the Affiliate Marketers Give Back.

Train Signal’s Affiliate Program

So you may be wondering why we chose Affiliate Marketers Give Back and ShoeMoney’s t-shirt auction to donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. And you’re right, we could have donated in a number of different ways.
