What you'll be working on:

  • We're constantly working to create the best computer training on the planet. On a daily basis you'll be working with the Director of Product Development and the Product Team to tackle projects such as reviewing our training, or research and pricing for upcoming Top Secret projects, and more.
  • Be a Quality Assurance Superhero! Quality is extremely important to us and we do whatever it takes to achieve excellence. Before we launch anything it goes through rigorous review process. You'll be engaged in this process and have impact in getting training to market faster and better.
  • Helping and listening to our customers. Customers and visitors to our sites are what drive our business. It will be vital for you to help them when they have questions about courses, and hear their needs to help the team build products that deliver on our promise of best. You'll be involved in helping moderate our forums and collect feedback from the users to see what we can do to better their experience.
  • You'll be involved with connecting to the blog-o-sphere. We're always looking to expand the connections and partnerships with those who are blogging and talking about tech. You'll be involved with contacting them, building relations, getting them swag, and more.
  • Innovation. Keeping TrainSignal at the forefront of computer training... we are not only creating training, we're also using it.
  • Organization. You'll be involved in helping the Director of Product Development keep reports up to date.

What you need to bring to the table:

  • Ready to take on multiple projects, keep focus, be organized and ready to roll up the sleeves and have fun!
  • You should have a passion for technology and basic tech experience. This could be anything from being the family tech support all-star, setting up home networks and troubleshooting the family computers to being an MCP, A+, Net+ etc...If you aren't completely into technology this job won't be fun for you. If you love computers, gadgets, and gizmos you'll fit right in and love each and every moment.
  • Focus on quality. If settling for second best is okay, this position isn't for you. Be ready to share how quality is important in your life.
  • A desire and passion for learning. Knowledge is one of our core values here at TrainSignal and we want you to be as excited about learning as we are. We'll work with you on your goals to get you educated and certified on today top technologies.
  • An open and innovative mind. We're looking for someone who comes in and is open to change. Someone who looks for ways to make things better and can work with a team to improve those things.
  • Top notch communication skills. You'll be contacting influential individuals in the tech industry. It is imperative that you represent TrainSignal with the same professionalism and quality that our President Scott Skinger would if he were writing the email or talking on the phone.
  • Experience coding HTML, administering a YouTube account, using Twitter and other social media, killer google and research skills, know how to create a Word/Excel document that will wow the reader are all skills you'll need to be a Rock Star at this position.

We're looking for someone who can commit 20-40 hrs a week for the summer. We only like to work with hard working, positive people. If you're a little lazy or unmotivated, we wish you the best of luck. If you're looking for a lazy summer surfing the web this isn't it.
