Throw backup out the window using disk-based DPM CDP – Continuous Data Protection

Gone are the days when organizations could allow 8, 10 or even 12 hour backup windows to impede business operations. Today’s 24/7 organization demands a tool that provides 24/7 coverage all with minimal operational impact. Organizations must master the use of Continuous Data Protection in DPM in order to avoid certain loss of business – and money – that comes with inevitable hardware issues and data corruption problems. With DPM’s CDP capability, you can be a hero in your organization by protecting data as often as every 15 minutes – all while continuing business as usual.

Take Advantage of DPM 2010’s Powerful Features

Microsoft has made DPM an enterprise-grade application capable of protecting even the most critical Microsoft workloads. Learning how to use these new features is key to ensuring that DPM can protect your company from disaster. Although DPM is a capable product, it takes time to learn how to leverage it to best effect. In this course, you’ll learn about:

  • DPM’s broad support for Microsoft’s newest enterprise platforms such as Exchange 2010, SQL Server 2008 R2 and SharePoint 2010
  • New features in DPM that take the pain – and time – out of data protection and recovery
  • How single item recovery from Hyper-V virtual machines can allow you to recover items with ease and with speed
  • Methods by which you can protect your DPM server itself to keep your data protection environment operating in peak condition
  • Ways that you can keep DPM from consuming too many resources – disk, network and processing – and affecting production
  • A SharePoint 2010 method for recovering databases and even single items – all without needing a separate and expensive recovery farm!
  • Resurrecting Windows Server 2008 servers from death! DPM’s bare metal recovery feature makes it a breeze to recovery servers from scratch.

Data Protection at the Speed of Thought

DPM 2010 brings ease to the data protection game by taking some of the pain away. When a SQL Server database administrator adds a new database, you can make sure it’s protected, all without lifting a finger! And, when it comes to raw speed, you’ll see just how fast DPM can be. Learn how I recovered a 28 GB critical database in the middle of the working day – in 7 minutes flat.

Learn also how DPM 2010 protects SharePoint 2010 without requiring the use of a SharePoint recovery farm. No more need for a separate infrastructure just to recover a document!

Go Virtual and Stay Protected

Let’s face it – everyone is going virtual these days and why not? Make sure that you know how your data protection platform goes with this trend in the data center. Discover just how robust DPM 2010 is when it comes to protecting mission-critical Hyper-V workloads and master the art of single-item recovery from a supported Hyper-V virtual machine.

Take the DPM 2010 Plunge with our Training

Learn how to install and implement your first Data Protection Manager 2010 environment and protect a myriad of Microsoft workloads, including Windows servers, Exchange Server 2010, SharePoint 2010, SQL Server 2008 R2 and Hyper-V. Discover steps you can to make sure your DPM environment works for you and not the other way around.

We’ve created this course using a building-block approach that provides you with a solid DPM foundation before we take the plunge into specific workload protection techniques. We are offering you a quality Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2010 Course instructed by Scott Lowe, a certified hands-on technology leader and practitioner, author and creator a many Train Signal courses, including our System Center Configuration Manager and System Center Operations Manager courses.

"I shall continue to buy your products without a question of a doubt."

I have purchased almost all of your videos so far and I must say that they have been value for money; in as much as that I have gained lots of new skills.

Moreover, I find your service absolutely excellent and I feel totally appreciated as a customer. I shall continue to buy your products without a question of a doubt.

Kind regards,

"You guys have a unique ability to explain and visually demonstrate these esoteric topics in a way that is easy to understand..."

I just wanted to let you know I have been very impressed with the orders we have placed with you.

Last year we bought the Microsoft Server Complete Library. It is one of the best I have seen.

You guys have a unique ability to explain and visually demonstrate these esoteric topics in a way that is easy to understand.

I have attended many training classes where I was getting good information but because of the way it was taught I had to force myself to pay attention and in some cases just try not to fall asleep.

These videos are just the opposite. If I am not careful I will sit up too late watching them. Well, we just received our most recent order. This time we decided to order all of your VMWare Videos. If they are as good as your other work then I know I'm going to be happy.

Thanks for the help and keep up the good work.

Del Bullion VDI Communications, Inc.
"I am on my way to becoming an MCSE and have found your videos very informative. However, your service deserves even more praise."

I inadvertently ordered two of the same course on Routing and Remote Access and when I discovered my mistake, I was very upset.

Internet based companies are often hard to deal with. If you try to return something, they put you off -sometimes indefinitely. I was almost sure that I would encounter problems when I attempted to exchange the video.

I called Ashley on the phone and informed her of my intent to exchange the duplicate video for another. She told me that she would send the other video when I returned mine.

I sent the video back by UPS and within a few days I received a package with the new Active Directory tutorial movie. I was so impressed that your company did not try to hold the movie hostage or to delay sending it. Even though I am an avid supporter of technology, I have to agree with those who say that the age of impersonal commerce has opened doorways to poor service.

I hope your company is successful and that others realize the benefit of doing business with someone they can trust!

Sincerely,

Nancy Ashley Ware
"I will be happy to recommend your products to anyone I know..."

Just to let you guys know I received my order this morning. Extremely happy with the fast delivery service, since I ordered the product on Tuesday afternoon and I received them Thursday morning (48hrs delivery from the US to the UK, that puts to shame some mail order companies in the UK) I will be happy to recommend your products to anyone I know.

Daniel Jenkins Surrey, Great Britain
"I highly recommend your products and I buy every new release that comes out."

I would like to say that I have had many “live” classes in everything from MCSE to CCNA and your classes are as good or better. You can play the CDs over and over or go back and review something that you did not really understand the first time.

I highly recommend your products and I buy every new release that comes out. Please keep up the great work!

Thanks,

Joseph McElveen Insync Network Systems, Savannah, Georgia
"Your way of running business is a rare example..."

There truly is power in a good name and a way of running business. Good impressions and positive experiences with a company definitely affect how people think when they think of your name - in this case, TrainSignal.

All that is to say thank you and that I will truly enjoy the material. I have studied all the other many hours diligently and will continue on my certification path.

You guys are doing it right; it's great to take part in your program and business.
