I have used your courses in the past and they seem to be very well put together. The course for SharePoint has put me closer to my goal. (I am looking to get certified on the SharePoint and also give me more hands on skills).

I learned about some gotchas that I wasn't aware of from the reading material I used, but the instructor pointed right out. Very good self paced learning courses. I would recommend any of these courses to any IT pro to further their high tech learning.

I ordered the SharePoint 2007 CD to get back familiar with the basic administration of a SharePoint portal. I am very familiar with the 2003 flavor of MOSS but not 2007. The CD's were very helpful to me and a couple of friends at work. Your instructor led traing is so good we have since implemented to our required training for new interns that will become future developers.

I would say that the courses that I have ordered from TrainSignal have helped me tremedously.

You have to unserstand that I have taken really great jobs not understanding DHCP, Basic AD, or DNS. After one weekend with a TrainSignal CD and my server, I return to work as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the following day. You CD's have always aided me in gaining much needed knowledge to make it in todays IT job market.

So far I can honestly say that I cant go any further than a 5 (out of 5 stars) with any of the courses I have ordered. Look at it this way, I actually let some developers use my MOSS 2007 CD's at work (These guys have been working with programming, Net design, Web design, and a list of other things for about 6 years.) They say the CD's are actually better than training that they have recieved over time to even understand Share Point.

To self-train on SharePoint to gain skills in installation and maintenance.

We have identified a need for a system to aid with our collaboration efforts here at the Monastery. Our entire server systems are Windows based and as IT Manager, going with SharePoint was the logical choice. Also, I being the one who would have to implement, train and maintain the system, I needed training.

I have purchased most of the Windows courses that you offer. I'm a repeat customer, and quite satisfied with TrainSignal.

My responsibilities include the rollout of several SharePoint environments for my company (an intranet site, colaborative sites, extranet sites and Internet sites).

So, I needed the training to perform the rollout, and provide support to the users. PLUS, I could afford the course. I did not get re-imbursed from my company.

I like the TrainSignal labs because I go back to the videos, and review. The lab environment suites me just fine. I didn't just look and listen. I performed the labs along with the instructor.

Since taking the course, I have implemented 2 SharePoint farms (one internal, and one external).

Specifically using the course, I have created and configured our Records Center. The course helped me to understand the concepts of record types.

We are now getting ready to roll out our colaborative environment, and the course helps me to understand permissions. The course gave me the ability to support very demanding users.

With the use of an ISA 2006 server, I have roled out the Internet facing farm. With tips specifically from the instructor I've been able to backup the farms, and make corrections when a backup has failed.

On a scale of 1 to 5, I'd rate it a 5. I refer to the videos quite often and get a lot out of all of your courses.

I purchased this course to prep for implementation of SharePoint.

It has great reference and examples the you can refer to. I watch the videos when I have questions on particular items.

I like the fact that you can pause the videos and go try it out the examples on a server. I also like the fact that the videos are clear and easy to understand.

My wife said the course did help a lot. She has purchased a few books on SharePoint, and she said that without your course, she wouldn't have understood what the books were talking about.

She indicated she thoroughly enjoyed the step by step practical guides your training provides. She said the logical order of the learning. She also liked that each lesson was small and concise geared for an easy to understand topic.
