Greetings!

A Universal Inbox. Email, voicemail and fax—all entering your employees' inboxes and accessible through Outlook, Outlook Web App, or yes, even through Outlook Voice Access (OVA). Best of all, it's already built into your Exchange 2010 server role line-up. Unified Messaging is an awesome and polished solution that will not only connect with your users' inboxes, not only provide a means to have users dial in to obtain their inbox information through auto attendants, and not only provide speech-to-text transcription for your users' emails so they can have a voicemail preview of their messages—it provides the key to unlocking the door that separates your IT world from telephony. And that door, once open, will yield innumerable rewards (power-ups, if you will) for both your organization and you personally as you become a specialist in Unified Messaging.

The question is, how does one begin the process of becoming a Unified Messaging specialist? Without the dedicated hardware and telephony know-how it is almost impossible. That is why I've created this course with TrainSignal. It wasn't our goal to just teach you Unified Messaging. Any decent instructor who knows how to click Next-Next-Finish can teach you the basics. The goal is to round out your knowledge of telephony concepts and terminology, and demonstrate a fully-functional UM environment that takes you deeper into the UM world than any course on the planet.

In this course, in just over 5 hours, you'll learn how to:

  • Design and deploy Unified Messaging like a professional.
  • Address configuration options within dial plans, IP gateways, mailbox policies and auto attendants.
  • Provide a fully automated voicemail system with multiple languages supported using auto attendants.
  • All without having to spend a dime for the extra hardware needed to make this work.

Upon completion of this course you will no longer be JUST an Exchange admin or an IT professional. You'll be a Unified Messaging expert.

J. Peter Bruzzese (Microsoft MVP for Exchange, Triple-MCSE, MCT, MCSA, MCTS: SharePoint 2010, Configuration, MCITP: Messaging)

J. Peter began his adventure in IT working for some of the largest investment banking firms in Manhattan. Goldman Sachs, Solomon Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch taught him the essentials of corporate life, networking and technology.

Eventually Peter would branch into the independent consultant and trainer world where he would work for New Horizons, CommVault Systems and even Microsoft, to name a few. For the past 15 years he has specialized in Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint support and education, as well as Certification Instruction.

Exchange has been Peter’s primary focus for ten years. He has a love for the way messaging works and has appreciated the improvements Microsoft has been making to Exchange with each release. This has led to the formation of his free site www.exclusivelyexchange.com. In addition to Exchange, Peter has focused a great deal on SharePoint 2007 and 2010. In the State of Florida he is the SharePoint admin for a voluntary disaster relief team, handling both Server administration and Site Collection administration.

Sold internationally, Peter just finished his tenth book, "Exchange 2007 SP1 How-To", and then followed it up with "Server 2008 How-To" and "Using Windows 7" all published by Que.

Peter is a regular contributor to Redmond Magazine, WindowsITPro, SharePoint Pro, and TechTarget. He is a regular speaker for TechMentor Conferences and has spoken at Microsoft TechEd Conferences, the IT360 Tech Conferences in Canada, the TEC Conference and Connections. Last but certainly not least, he writes the Enterprise Windows column for InfoWorld where he focuses extensively on server technologies like Exchange and SharePoint.

"I was able to effectively
learn Exchange 2007 in less
than 3 days..."

I thought you might be interested to hear from SonicWALL in regards to how valuable your products truly are. I am a L3 Email Security Engineer with SonicWALL Email Security E-Class and your comprehensive and concise instructor led videos have allowed me to so much more efficiently take care of my clientele, not only with support of SonicWALL products, but Microsoft and Cisco support as well.

I recently needed to learn Exchange 2007 for a case that I was working on, so I opted for your videos yet again. I was able to effectively learn Exchange 2007 in less than 3 days. I have been in the IT Industry now for about 8 years, a third of my life. I have painstakingly studied almost every book for the MCSA/MCSE, Cisco Technologies, Wireless Security and more.

I have also had an opportunity to evaluate other Instructor-Led videos from other companies, and the facts in this next statement are incontrovertible; these videos are simply the best. So much so, that I always recommend these to my clients to further their own education. I look forward to continuing my educational endeavors and career with your videos.

"I am looking to get certified in Exchange 2007 and also get more hands on skills..."

I have used your courses in the past and they seem to be very well put together. The course for Exchange 2007 has put me closer to my goal.

It has giving me some very good experience on the look and feel, shown me the proper configuration, and shown me the new features and functionality that were not available on the older versions of Exchange.

Ron G Knox Senior Systems Engineer, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, www.iceomatic.com
"You guys were the only ones where I could buy a training CD
and learn on my own, and on
my own schedule..."

I wanted to see how to setup Exchange 2007 and to use most of its new features. Your training class helped me learn many things about Exchange, the setup process and how to administer it.

Side note: Whenever I am looking for a new technology to learn about, I go to your site first to see if you guys have it on CD yet. Keep up the good work!

Thank you,

John Sloan Senior Systems Engineer , Genesis Healthcare, www.genesishcc.com
"You guys have a unique ability to explain and visually demonstrate these esoteric topics in a way that is easy to understand..."

I just wanted to let you know I have been very impressed with the orders we have placed with you.

Last year we bought the Microsoft Server Complete Library. It is one of the best I have seen.

You guys have a unique ability to explain and visually demonstrate these esoteric topics in a way that is easy to understand.

I have attended many training classes where I was getting good information but because of the way it was taught I had to force myself to pay attention and in some cases just try not to fall asleep.

These videos are just the opposite. If I am not careful I will sit up too late watching them. Well, we just received our most recent order. This time we decided to order all of your VMWare Videos. If they are as good as your other work then I know I'm going to be happy.

Thanks for the help and keep up the good work.

Del Bullion VDI Communications, Inc.
"I will be happy to recommend your products to anyone I know..."

Just to let you guys know I received my order this morning. Extremely happy with the fast delivery service, since I ordered the product on Tuesday afternoon and I received them Thursday morning (48hrs delivery from the US to the UK, that puts to shame some mail order companies in the UK) I will be happy to recommend your products to anyone I know.
