View is VMware’s solution for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). This course is designed to teach administrators the knowledge and skills necessary to support a VMware View Infrastructure, includes defining, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining the users, pools, applications, data, and components that make up the VDI system. In order to get the most out of this course, you should have experience administering desktops. Virtualization experience is helpful, but not required.

Brian Knudtson

Brian Knudtson

Brian has worked in the IT field for over 10 years in design, development and infrastructure roles. For the last seven years, he has concentrated on virtualization technologies, with a special focus on virtual desktops in the last three years. During that time, Brian co-founded the Omaha VMware Users Group, received VMware's vExpert award and sat on VMware's Partner Technical Advisory Board. Currently working as a Systems Engineer for a VMware Premier Partner, he holds the following certifications: VCP2, VCP3, VCP4, VCAP4-DCA, VCAP4-DCD, VCA4-DT, VCP4-DT, MCITP 2008: Enterprise Administrator, and HP Master ASE: High Availability and Clustering Solutions.
