What We Do

TrainSignal is a Chicago-based company that makes award-winning computer training for IT professionals. We work hard every day to produce premium quality computer training designed to give IT pros in-depth knowledge, build hands-on skills and promote career advancement. We also like to have a little fun.

Why We Do It

TrainSignal was founded in 2002 by Scott Skinger to address a problem that he encountered over and over again as a technical trainer: subpar training materials. Most curriculums or books were primarily focused on certification exam prep, geared towards learning the theory necessary to pass vendor certification exams and often skipping out on the practical, hands-on knowledge that IT pros need.

TrainSignal took a different approach. We focused on creating training products that were in-depth, very hands-on and practical. Our goal was to make sure that IT pros had the skills, expertise and confidence to excel in the real world and advance their professional careers.

Today, TrainSignal is still focused on what has made us successful for 10 years: our product and taking care of people. We are passionate and committed to creating an exceptional product, making people happy and giving back to the IT community.
